27/06/2022 Departure from Newyln, en route to Falmouth Portpendennis Marina

Yesterday we spent much of the afternoon at the Red Lion overlooking the harbour in Newlyn watching the fishing boats coming and going and had a late lunch at the pub. After lunch we all retired back to the boat for a siesta. Harry, Ed and Noah went to "The Swordfish" pub for a drink and found it interesting comparing the locals there to the locals at The White Hart at home - probably safer to keep the comparisons private! We decided on a takeaway and ordered Dominoes, Peter was not at all impressed when we arrived back at the boat with these!

This morning the sun is out and the wind is light. Filled up with water, provisioned for the short hop round to Falmouth and left the harbour at 10:00.

Cruising along nicely at 7.5 knots whilst Wilson is reading the paper, Noah and Harry have showered, Ed is sunbathing and brunch is in the oven (for the second time because we didn't have enough electricity earlier and Harry is bored of cooking on gas!)
