We arrived at our final destination in the Crinan canal, Ardrishaig - a shit hole to be frank.

Another berth with no electricity or water - The battery for Harry and Noah's cabin is also flat which isn't ideal seeing as there is nothing to do in the town.

We all dined at "The Grey Gull Hotel"... its safe to say that the hotel will not be winning any awards. The food disagreed with Noah in particular, who had to make a dash out the boats emergency exit in order to eject the slightly off scallops... not a pleasant sight or sound! This morning we left our berth and mad our way through the first lock, which thankfully was just a few yards away. Once through we had another lock and swing bridge to negotiate, which did make Noah who was helming, start squawking at the crew as no one knew what side we were meant to be mooring to! We made it through without any dings and moored up in the sea basin while we waited for the last lock to be filled. We have now made it out of the sea lock and into the Clyde, steaming towards Greenock, where we will spend the night before heading to Largs. Noah is heading home for a few days whilst the boat is stationary, and brining back with him a new crew member, whom will be joining us for the leg to Dublin.

5 miles into a 46 mile passage, we have a steady breeze on the nose, but we are powering on at 7.5 knots. ETA Greenock about 6PM.
