We ventured to the local boozer for supper last night and we all had a jolly time and enjoyed some Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter and a bottle of Rose which was more comparable to something we put in our diesel tanks as opposed to wine, it went down though. Back to the boat for a whisky, delicious, brought by Binnie. Earlyish night.
A full night sleep at last for Peter, Harry and Noah - at last! We left this morning at 9:30 and had to go through 4 locks one after another and then one more a little further on and now we are in Lochness! We did some laundry last night but forgot to dry it - so Harry and Noah put a makeshift washing line together - not sure Wilson approves but thankfully is too immobile to get to it whilst we are moving so our laundry is drying nicely.
Fishers gin has been opened and the sun is shining and it is another lovely warm day! Harry cooked an enormous breakfast for all five of us - slightly challenging when he had to venture outside to sort a lock half way through.
Back to hydration, update you later.
P.S. The Norwegian boat next to us made us look very civilised, one of their crew was asleep on the pontoon this morning.
